Volvo Car UK has an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Sales Consultant in Maidstone, where their vision is to exceed customer expectations in all areas of the business. By creating pleasure in ownership and providing a hassle-free experience, they aim to create long-term and meaningful relationships.
What you will do:
- Maximise new and used vehicle sales through both prospecting and conquest business, achieving personal sales volume and financial targets set by the Sales Manager.
- Sell finance and insurance schemes, accessories, and extended warranties.
- Achieve agreed performance gateways in terms of penetration levels and volume.
- Offer test drives at every opportunity, ensuring manufacturer standards are observed.
- Operate the company's prospect and follow-up systems effectively, maintaining them daily, including demonstrator logs.
- Record and capture customer information to company standards, ensuring quality and consistency in all communications.
Examples of contact standards:
- Telephone: Respond within 5 rings, introduce yourself with enthusiasm, take caller’s name and contact details, identify vehicle of interest, budget, funding intention, and enquiry source, then agree next steps (e.g., appointment/test drive).
- Showroom: Capture full personal/contact details, identify vehicle of interest and budget, offer and arrange a test drive, explain finance options, and book follow-up appointments.
