Operations Supervisor

HANDS ON OPERATIONS, YARD OR SITE SUPERVISOR / DEPOT TEAM LEADER REQUIRED TO LEAD A TEAM IN A REGIONAL WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING ENVIRONMENT JOB TITLE: Operations Supervisor- Waste Management and Recycling SALARY: £45,000 plus pension Hours 7am -5pm CLIENT: My client is an established organisation in the waste and recycling sector in the Lancaster area. They are engaged in waste management and recycling services and the recycling of metals LOCATION: Lancaster, Heysham and Morecambe or surrounding areas MAIN DUTIES Site Supervisor: Hands on operative role, loading/un loading Managing the team day to day and ensuring production levels are maintained Ensuring health and safety policies are adhered to Ensuring safe storage of all good to ensure quality REQUIRED EXPERIENCE You may have worked in the following sectors: warehouse, freight, shipping, transport, distribution, courier, waste management, dispatch recycling collections, parcels, haulage, building products, delivery Any welding/fabricating experience would be extremely beneficial Forklift Qualification would be beneficial You will demonstrate excellent man management skills. Any Health and Safety Qualifications – IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General beneficial but not necessary You previous title may have been: Warehouse Supervisor, Operations Team Leader, Depot Shift Supervisor, Dispatch Shift Leader, Waste Site Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader, Recycling Team Leader, Site Supervisor, Plastics Site Supervisor
