Are you organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting student welfare? Weβre seeking an Administrative Assistant to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to fostering a positive, well-structured environment for a school in Hayes.
The Administrative Assistant will fulfil the following duties:
- Ensuring smooth operations within the Pastoral and Behaviour teams.
- Support Heads of Year and senior staff to manage student behaviour records, coordinate pastoral meetings, and maintain communication with parents and carers.
- A good working knowledge with administrative systems like BromCom and ParentMail.
- Provide administrative support on daily detentions, seclusion letters and behaviour reports.
With a minimum of 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English), you will have an excellent command of the English language able to proofread, correct and edit documents for a variety of audiences. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills enable you to manage tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism. Above all, you are committed to safeguarding, equality, and continuous professional development, always striving to contribute positively to the school community.
This role is term time only (39 Weeks), 36 hours per week, for a 1-Year fixed term contract. Immediate interviews for suitable candidates.
