SEND Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistants for a SEND independent school in Worcester. The school is looking for compassionate individuals who are looking for a rewarding role. There are full time and part time positions available. The school supports children with a vary of SEND from the ages of 8 years up to 19 years. The ideal candidate will have worked in a classroom setting and SEND experience (professional or personal). Key Responsibilities: • Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with SEND • Monitor pupils progress and provide feedback to staff • Promote a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment • A proactive and compassionate approach Requirements: • Proven experience working with SEND children is Essential • Strong communication skills • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm • Pay: Starting from £89 per day, depending on experience and qualifications • An enhanced DBS required on the update service (or willing to purchase one) • Full time and Part time availability with the opportunity of long term, permanent work If you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in a child’s life this is the role for you.
