Mechanical Assembly Operative

Our client is a leading provider of electronic design and assembly services. They work with customers at the leading edge of new product development from initial design, prototyping and certification through to volume manufacture, ongoing service, maintenance and repair. In short – the complete product lifecycle.

Based within a fast paced manufacturing environment the successful applicant will have previous experience in mechanical assembly, wiring/cable work, manual component insertion and soldering.

Duties will include:

• Mechanical assembly
• Cable work
• Hand soldering
• Wiring
• Manual component insertion
• Conformal Coating of product
• Rework
• Testing of basic product

Previous experience in component rework and knowledge of IPC-610 quality standards would be an advantage.

This position offers 20 days holiday plus an extra day for each complete years service to a maximum of 24 days plus paid bank holidays, 5% employer and 4% employee pension scheme, free parking.

4 Day Working Week – Mon – Thurs 7am to 5pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00 per year
