Manufacturing Environment

Location: Taunton

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 PA DOE

Duration: 6 – 12 month Contract

My client, an FMCG manufacturer near Taunton, is seeking a Waste and Recycling Manager / Coordinator. The role reports to the Site Health and Safety Manager and is offered on a 6 to 12-month contract. The main purpose is to manage waste in line with business requirements, including categorising, managing, reporting on, and disposing of waste streams. This role may suit a graduate with relevant experience.

This position focuses on optimizing material usage, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with environmental and sustainability regulations. The manager will collaborate with external agencies (such as the Environmental Agency), as well as production, quality, and supply chain teams to develop waste reduction strategies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
