We’re working with a main contractor to recruit a freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor, managing the prelims package for a £200m+ project. You will join a major project with up to 3 years’ of construction, working with a collaborative team to capture change, produce accurate forecasts and achieve the best outcome for all stakeholders.
Senior Quantity Surveyor duties:
- Working with the project team to record costs, change and variation
- Minimise cost and risk of the project and enhance value for money
- Manage costs and budget in line with the NEC contract
- Raise early warning notices, compensation events
- Reviewing prelim forecasting and highlight risks and opportunities
