My client, based in St Helen's, is looking for an experienced Leader to join their stunning and luxurious 50-bedded residential care home. They are offering a Unit Manager position and would like someone who is looking for their next step. Main Duties:

As a Unit Manager, you will be expected to supervise and support the care team, ensuring that the Care Home values of trust, respect and care are always maintained and that each team member treats residents in the way that they would expect to be treated themselves. This role is a Unit Manager role, but with clear responsibility for specified residents along with overseeing and supervising the caring team. Clear communication with other team members is essential. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • To participate in the formulation and maintenance of individual care plans for each resident and administer medication to residents
  • To understand and comply with statutory and legal requirements
  • To liaise with other care professionals relating to the care needs of the residents.
  • Be understanding and patient towards residents and their needs, and encourage, assist and support residents
