About the Role:

As our Deputy Care Manager, you will assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high standards of care are consistently maintained. You will play a vital role in supporting staff, overseeing care plans, and promoting the wellbeing and independence of our residents/clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager in leading and managing the care team
  • Oversee the development and implementation of individualised care plans
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies
  • Conduct staff supervision, training, and performance reviews
  • Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
  • Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and person-centred care

About You:

  • Previous experience in a senior care role (Senior Care Assistant, Team Leader, etc.)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards Level 5)
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • A proactive and supportive approach to care management
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and CQC standards
