Rate: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)

We're working with a fantastic SEN school in Luton that’s looking for a dedicated and confident SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in the new academic year. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with a variety of additional needs in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience working with children or young people with SEN - in education, care or similar
  • A calm, confident presence with strong behaviour management skills
  • A genuine understanding of different SEN profiles, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and more
  • A relevant qualification such as CACHE/NVQ Level 2 or higher in Teaching Assistant (desirable but not essential)
  • A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a committed team

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups to access learning
  • Working alongside teachers and therapists to meet pupils' individual needs
  • Helping to create a safe, stimulating learning environment
  • Encouraging independence and emotional development
  • Managing behaviour in a positive, consistent way
