City of London based – Three days in the office

Rate: £850pd Umbrella (Negotiable)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in asset management to deliver a range of business and technology projects. This role combines traditional project management responsibilities with elements of business analysis and stakeholder engagement across front and back-office functions.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end delivery of projects across multiple business units.

Define scope, create project plans, and track progress against milestones.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business value is realized quickly.

Maintain project documentation, including status updates and risk registers.

Ensure alignment with business goals, preventing scope creep and delays.

Support project analysis and contribute to solution design when needed.

Key Competencies

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including C-suite engagement.

Experience managing change in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Ability to prioritize, organize, and deliver under pressure.

Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Skilled at working with diverse teams across Legal, Compliance, HR, Finance, Front Office, Operations, and IT.

Understanding of financial instruments, including fixed income and derivatives.

Agile project delivery experience preferred.

Qualifications

Experience in asset management is essential.
