Stores Operative Start Date: ASAP Location: Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire Hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm. Monday to Friday 40 Hours Per Week. This role will require the use of a forklift, and we do require someone reliable who is looking to work for an established business. Job Duties: * Making sure incoming components and materials are received * Checking components are stored accurately * Checking that outbound shipments are prepared, packaged, and dispatched correctly * Receive and check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes * Inspect goods for damage or defects and report discrepancies * Accurately log deliveries into the stock control system * Label and safely store goods in the correct locations * Assist with unloading deliveries using forklift trucks and pallet jacks * Pick and pack customer orders accurately and securely * Prepare shipping documents and labels * Maintain a clean and organised dispatch area What We\’re Looking For: * Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment * Forklift license is not essential but is desirable. * Good understanding of stock control and logistics processes * Strong attention to detail – accuracy is a must * Physically fit – comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet So, are you ready for your next job?
