Associate Tutor - Functional Skills

We are now looking for a dedicatedFunctional Skills Tutor to join our team and deliver high-quality, impactful teaching in Maths, English, and ICT.

We expect you to:

• Plan and deliver engaging Functional Skills sessions (Entry Level to Level 2).

• Support learners in improving core skills as part of their study programmes.

• Set personalised targets, monitor progress, and ensure timely achievement.

• Use innovative strategies to overcome learning barriers and meet diverse needs.

• Maintain high standards in line with Ofsted and funding requirements.

Knowledge ans Skills:

• Teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET or above) + Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA or equivalent).

• Experience delivering Functional Skills onlline or classroom settings.

• Passion for supporting learners to develop confidence, independence, and employability.

• Strong organisational and communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital learning tools.
