Our client, a globally renowned food manufacturer, is seeking a proactive National Account Executive to manage relationships with key UK retailers. This company is recognised for its commitment to employee development, offering clear pathways for career advancement and job satisfaction.

NAE Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head of Sales in managing major grocery retail accounts, contributing significantly to the commercial team.
  • Support the oversight of key grocery customer accounts across various brands, identifying and capitalising on commercial opportunities.
  • Represent the brand in external engagements and participate in customer meetings as necessary.
  • Handle administrative tasks and analyse sales data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Proactively seek to acquire new customers, enhance existing relationships, and advocate for product development initiatives.

NAE Candidate Profile:

  • Possesses 1 to 2 years of experience as a National Account Executive or Junior National Account Manager, with exposure to head office-level customer interactions; experience within a retailer and seeking a transition to the supplier side is also considered valuable.
  • Exhibits strong communication skills, coupled with a numerical and analytical mindset.
  • Brings experience from a branded FMCG background, with an understanding of commercial best practices.
