We are currently seeking a dedicated Service Controller to join my clients Head Office team in Farnham. This is a vital role within our Service Department, where you will be responsible for coordinating resources efficiently to ensure rapid resolution of service requests and maintaining clear communication both internally and externally.

Role Overview: As a Service Controller, you will oversee the coordination of service engineers based at your allocated depot. You will manage the booking and scheduling of breakdowns and service jobs, follow up on ongoing tasks, and handle administrative duties such as processing timesheets and invoicing for completed retail repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate breakdowns and service jobs, allocating them to engineers and liaising with customers to minimise equipment downtime.
  • Generate and send estimates for additional repair work within 24 hours.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates on all active jobs.
  • Support general administrative duties to ensure smooth departmental operations.
  • Handle incoming calls professionally, maintaining a polite and diplomatic approach, even when dealing with challenging situations.
