This is an exciting time to join our client who own and manage private schools within the UK and overseas. They are on the lookout for a highly motivated individual that is willing to go above and beyond expectations.

Joining as a full-time Payroll Administrator, you will be running monthly payroll for circa 900 employees within the group.

You will be working under the guidance of the Finance and Payroll Manager to assist with the provision of the following services:

  • Managing own workflow to meet associated deadlines
  • Preparing and distributing all aspects of employee payments
  • Maintaining payroll records and calculating taxes
  • Ensuring timely submission of data to HMRC and maintaining compliance with GDPR
  • Administration of pension contributions and ensuring auto-enrolment rules are being adhered to
  • Providing a friendly point of contact to employees for payroll related queries

You will be integral to the finance team’s continued growth and will be expected to want to help with other ad hoc duties as required.

Our client is looking for a highly ambitious candidate, someone who thinks outside the box and is willing to go above and beyond expectations, they require someone who:

  • Always adopts a positive mindset and enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude
  • Use of BrightPay software advantages
  • Use of Microsoft Excel essential
  • Determination and drive to continually improve processes and working techniques
  • CIPP and/or AAT qualified/part qualified
  • Strong understanding of payroll and HR
  • Work experience within education environment would be preferred
  • Adaptable and wanting to develop skills across both payroll and bookkeeping
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance workloads to manage the needs of various clients
  • Possesses excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
