Overview:
Compass Associates are proud to be working with a specialist provider of Complex Homecare Services to recruit for a Director of Nursing. This is a senior leadership position, based at the organisation’s South London headquarters, and will play a pivotal role in the delivery and development of high-quality care services in the community.
With a strong foundation in nursing-led care, this provider supports individuals with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health conditions, and complex physical health needs, including those resulting from brain or spinal injuries. Their mission is centred on delivering bespoke, compassionate care tailored to each individual’s unique needs. This is a key leadership opportunity within the executive team, offering the chance to shape and expand the clinical strategy and team during an exciting period of growth.
Location:
This is a fully office-based role, located in Mitcham, South London. This is commutable from Central London (e.g. Battersea, Putney), Hounslow, Weybridge, Guildford, Dorking, Crawley, Sevenoaks, Dartford, and other surrounding areas and towns.
Criteria:
- NMC Registration as a Nurse
- Experience in Complex Homecare or Nurse Case Management
- A clinical background in Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, and complex physical conditions
- Proven ability to lead and manage clinical teams across multiple regions
- Strong understanding of CQC regulatory standards, with a track record of maintaining Good or above
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead, develop, and manage a team of Registered Managers and Regional Clinical Leads
- Ensure safe, effective, and compliant care delivery across all services
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance in relation to safeguarding, care planning, quality improvement, and audits
- Drive workforce development through supervision, training, and ongoing support
- Collaborate with clients, families, professionals, and external stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of care
- Work closely with the executive team to influence strategic planning and operational outcomes
Salary and Benefits:
£80,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience
10% annual performance bonus
25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
