A well-respected primary school in Calne is searching for an Autism Support Teaching Assistant to be employed on an immediate and long-term basis. The ASD child has an EHCP with explicit targets and outcomes and will require a dedicated and caring individual who will understand the precise needs of the child.

The primary school is looking for an Autism Support Teaching Assistant who is engaging, empathetic and demonstrates a genuine desire to make a positive impact on children with SEN. Previous experience working with children with Autism is advantageous for this position.

This is an incredible opportunity for gaining experience within the Special Needs and Mental Health sector as you will have the chance in your role to observe, work alongside and collaborate with speech and language therapists, educational psychologists, occupational therapists and teachers with SEN specialisms.
