We are looking for a transport accounts office administrator to join our client's team based at Heathrow Airport. You will be providing support working alongside the busy transport staff, providing full assistance regarding all transport administration and accounts duties.
Transport Administrator Duties:
- Raising recharge invoices when required.
- Raising invoices weekly and monthly meeting group deadlines.
- Purchase orders, raising and sending to relevant clients or suppliers.
- Payroll duties: check and calculate all staff hours and overtime, dealing with staff expenses claims, uploading data to shared drive.
- Dealing with customer invoices ensuring all checked, approved using in-house system.
- Monitor and chase documentation in support of the transport operation.
- Answering and responding to incoming calls.
- Order all office stationery, raise PO, process the orders.
- Ensure all inbound/outbound paperwork is completed promptly and accurately.
- Undertake administrative and filing record keeping duties to meet needs of the Transport Department.
- Support the logistics team when required.
Transport Administrator Requirements:
- 'Right To Work' in the UK.
- DBS check is required for this role as working within freight logistics.
- 5 years checkable work history with no more than 28 days employment gap required.
- Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Word & Excel).
- Previous administration experience.
- Good numeric skills – including accuracy.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
- Enthusiastic and energetic personality.
- Ability to work on own initiative, demonstrates organisational skills.
- Full training will be provided.
Job Type: Full time. Office based Monday to Friday (No Remote Working). Hours of work: 09.00-17.00. Work Location: TW6 3YH. Salary: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 depending on experience.
