Kenneth Brian Associates is working with a well-known business based in Kingston, who are looking for a FP&A Accountant to join their growing team. This newly created role reports directly to the Head of Finance. As a FP&A Accountant, you will be responsible for providing strong financial reporting, analysis, and business partnering for the wider organisation. Your role will involve collaborating with non-finance stakeholders, preparing financial results and KPIs, and contributing to departmental growth.
The main responsibilities the position entails are:
- Oversee the creation of yearly budgets and contribute to the regular forecasting process.
- Support the production of monthly financial reports and conduct variance analysis to explain key deviations.
- Offer detailed analysis and commentary on financial results and underlying business trends.
- Enhance and maintain financial models used for forecasting and evaluating different scenarios.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect relevant data and analyze performance drivers.
- Design and produce recurring KPI dashboards and performance reports.
- Help prepare presentation materials and reports for senior leadership and board-level meetings.
- Analyze current and potential acquisitions, contributing financial insights and building related models.
- Work closely with the Finance Director on various ad hoc projects and in-depth financial analysis as needed.
To be considered for the role, you must possess the following:
- Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or studying towards the final stages of your qualifications.
- Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner or Management Accountant role.
- Strong communication skills to deal with a variety of non-finance stakeholders.
