We are now looking for a talented and enthusiastic Account Director within Ashfield MedComms.
About the role
The role would suit a candidate who enjoys multi-tasking with a positive attitude, who is solutions focussed. As an Account Director you will:
- be responsible for supervising a range of communications projects within Medical Education, Medical Affairs and Publications.
- use your project management, leadership skills and scientific expertise to deliver a range of scientific services to clients.
- be able to establish strong relationships - maintaining excellent relations with clients and your internal colleagues meeting and surpassing client needs and guaranteeing high business standards.
- have experience of delivering a variety of projects and be willing to take on mentorship and line management activities.
- research information from a variety of sources in order to provide expertise in therapy areas and products and act as a primary client liaison point.
- work as part of a collaborative team and supervise a range of projects working on dynamic and fast-paced accounts.
- lead on planning and strategy and be a primary liaison point.
To succeed you will have:
- Strong experience working in a medical communications environment.
- A proven background in project and client management and be comfortable leading on client facing projects on dynamic accounts while meeting client and group objectives.
- Experience across a variety of deliverables.
- Strong therapy area experience.
- Excellent financial understanding with experience of budgeting and forecasting.
- A flair for working well within a team with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A background in Life Sciences would be beneficial.
