We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our clients Distribution Centre based in Thrapston as a Class 1 Driver. This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing work with a large scale haulage company.
Class 1 Delivery Driver:
- Minimum 12 Months Class 1 Experience Required
- Immediate Starts Available
- PM Start Times are priority
- Ongoing work ideally Thursday to Monday
Pay Rates are as follows:
- Weekdays
- Days (06:00 - 16:00) - £16.31 (+£1.96 holiday pay up front if requested)
- Afternoons - £17.94 (+£2.16 holiday pay up front if requested)
- Nights (22:00 - 06:00) - £19.57 (+£2.36 holiday pay up front if requested)
- Days (06:00 - 16:00) - £21.29 (+£2.56 holiday pay up front if requested)
- Afternoons - £23.32 (+£2.81 holiday pay up front if requested)
- Nights (22:00 - 06:00) - £25.44 (+£3.07 holiday pay up front if requested)
- Ad-hoc or 5 shifts a week – you decide.
- Ongoing work – Assessment required.
Class 1 Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
- Store deliveries.
- Unloading/loading - Cages/Boxes/rails.
- Routine vehicle checks and general upkeep/cleanliness of the cab.
- Making sure that the load is correctly placed and secure before driving.
Essential Experience/Qualities for this position:
- Great work ethic.
- Minimum 12 Months UK Class 1 driving experience.
- Digital Tacho Card & CPC Card.
- Comfortable with loading/unloading.
- Be professional and presentable at all times.
- Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.
- Must not hold any more than 6 points on your license.
- No IN10, TT99 or DR10.
