Rikama Education Ltd is currently working with a special needs school in Tunbridge Wells who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible! Ideally you will have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant with a range of special needs, including both learning and behavioural issues. This is an all-through school, and experience working either in a school or within a role with children/young adults in the wider community would be ideal.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, Your Responsibilities Include

• To provide a safe, supportive and nurturing classroom environment
• To liaise with the lead teacher in preparing the classroom
• Support children with special educational needs and diverse learning styles
• Track and monitor student progression
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures

The Right Candidate MUST Have

• Experience of working with children or young adults
• Knowledge of working with a range of learning and/or behavioural needs, including ASD or SEMH (or both!)
• The right to work in the UK
