This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing energy organisation as a Project Sponsor, supporting the successful delivery of high-profile strategic programmes. This role is ideal for someone with experience in project or programme sponsorship, governance, financial oversight, and benefits management—particularly within the infrastructure or utilities sectors. As Project Sponsor, you will champion your assigned projects, ensuring they remain aligned with strategic objectives and deliver the expected business benefits. You will play a key role in governance, financial oversight, stakeholder engagement, and risk management, working closely with delivery teams and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align project outcomes with strategic programme objectives.
- Develop and maintain robust business cases and execution plans.
- Secure and manage financial approvals, ensuring value for money.
- Oversee delivery progress, ensuring milestone achievement and risk mitigation.

What We’re Looking For:

- Experience in infrastructure or utilities, ideally in regulated environments.
- Knowledge of financing models such as DPC or PFI is a plus.
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. IAM, APM, CMI, RICS) is preferred.
