The Role:
- You will be working on highly integrated multi-axis machines and intelligent in-house developed systems including optical imaging, position sensors and laser based technologies.
- You will be working as part of a small team – sometimes autonomously and often with direct customer contact – on the design & optimisation of intelligent systems capable of high accuracy and dynamic response.
The Person:
- The position is ideal for someone wishing to have broad design and development remit in satisfying customer needs through advanced digital technologies.
- We are seeking candidates who are:
- Degree/HNC qualified with c3 years of experience.
- Familiar with digital systems.
- Experience of PLC and/or CNC Controls.
- Knowledge and interest in one or more of the following: electrical design, digital communications, image processing, measurement technologies, programming.
- Ideally you will have experience in programming in either C, Matlab or Python.
- Familiarity with CAD, CAM, FEA or CNC systems would also be beneficial.
