This empowers them to offer a comprehensive solution spanning solar generation, intelligent storage, efficient charging, and energy management, enabling families worldwide to embrace sustainable, smart energy.

The Role:

  • Identify common customer concerns (cost, performance guarantees, aftersales) and build response strategies.
  • Develop sales toolkits (scripts, comparison sheets, demo videos) tailored to regions/customer profiles.
  • Work with product teams to refine system designs based on client feedback.
  • Train installer sales teams and update talk tracks based on field insights.
  • Diagnose installer pain points (e.g., site survey errors, delayed quotes) and propose solutions to accelerate deals.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years in residential solar PV system technical/pre-sales/installation management, with full-process familiarity (design, component selection, installation, grid connection, maintenance). Preferred: Experience with top-tier solar installers or involvement in SOP development.
  • Deep understanding of homeowner pain points (e.g., system efficiency, ROI period, roof compatibility, policy incentives).
  • Proficient in core residential PV components (inverters, mounting systems, storage) and selection criteria.
  • Knowledge of local regulations (grid connection, subsidies) and safety standards (electrical/structural).
  • Ability to translate technical jargon into customer-friendly language and create standardized materials (FAQs, scripts, case studies).
  • Experience developing training content and coaching sales teams.
  • Bachelor's degree (Energy, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering preferred).

Our client is offering a basic salary of £60,000 - £65,000 but this could be negotiable depending on experience, plus a car allowance and company benefits.

The role will be working on a hybrid basis, working 2 days per week from either Milton Keynes or Cambridge, with the expectation to attend client meetings.

We are keen to consider candidates living within 1-1.5 hours of Milton Keynes or Cambridge.
