Salary: £42,667.50 OTE £50,000 plus overtime on top paid at £29ph, plus call out fee of £2,095
Contract: Permanent Position
Working: 42.5 hours per week.
Location: Covering Derby and surrounding areas
Our client is a leading supplier of the full range of remote control and plug-in refrigerated cabinets to the retail, food and beverage, and hotel, restaurant, and catering sectors. Current opportunity for a qualified refrigeration service engineer to cover the Derby area. Customers range from supermarkets to small independent businesses. Successful applicant must have current F-gas qualification.
Main Responsibilities
- To carry out reactive repairs on a wide range of commercial refrigeration systems
- To undertake preventative maintenance work as required
- To cover 24 hours, call out on a rota basis
- To receive, respond and advise on calls passed from the Service Office
- To carry out or assist on installation work, when required
- To carry out commissioning at local level where required
Experience and Key Skills:
- Capable of hands-on problem solving with ability to generate ideas and solutions
- Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail
- Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks
- Strong communication, organisational and time management skills
- Commercial awareness
- Self-motivated but able to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental issues
- Relevant Refrigeration certification i.e. city & guilds in refrigeration
- Experience of CO2
- Microsoft office and handheld mobile devices
