1. Planning and Design Oversight:

2. Risk Management:
- Conduct risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for temporary works.
- Identify hazards (e.g., ground instability, load-bearing capacity) and implement controls.
3. Documentation and Approvals:
- Ensure all temporary works have design certificates and are approved by a competent person.
- Maintain records of inspections, permits, and handover certificates.
4. Site Supervision:
- Monitor installation and dismantling of temporary structures (e.g., scaffolding, crane foundations, trench supports).
- Verify that work aligns with approved designs and safety protocols.
5. Communication:
- Brief site teams on temporary works requirements and safety procedures.
- Liaise with the Principal Contractor and Principal Designer under CDM 2015.
6. Inspections:
- Oversee inspections at critical stages (e.g., before concrete pours, after extreme weather).
