Mechanical Project Manager – Commercial Fit Out £400/day – Long-Term Contract London We are working with one of the top 30 UK MEP subcontractors to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager for a high-profile commercial fit out project in Central London. This is a long-term contract opportunity, offering stability, a dynamic project environment, and a competitive rate of £400 per day. The Role: You will take full responsibility for the mechanical package, leading the delivery from pre-construction through to completion. This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and a proactive approach to managing programme and quality. Key Responsibilities: * Manage all aspects of mechanical services on-site, including HVAC, plumbing, and public health * Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and main contractors * Ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards * Lead project meetings and liaise regularly with clients, consultants, and the wider project team * Monitor health & safety compliance and maintain site records * Oversee commissioning and handover processes Candidate Requirements: * Proven experience managing mechanical packages on commercial fit out projects * Strong technical understanding of MEP systems and installation practices * Excellent organisational and leadership skills * SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant mechanical qualifications are desirable * London-based or able to commute daily Offer: * £400 per day (CIS or LTD, outside IR35) * Long-term contract with potential for extension * Immediate start available * Opportunity to work with a reputable MEP subcontractor on a landmark project
