The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This manufacturer of automated laser gauging and measurement systems wishes to appoint a support engineer to provide technical support, ppm and break-fix and commissioning to their manufacturing client base. Full product training is offered.
N.B. The role involves approximately 60% short duration travel (5/6 days) to mostly Western Europe customers. Significant time off in lieu of travel is offered to allow you to recharge your batteries (in addition to a generous travel allowance and company credit card). Travel is scheduled 6-8 weeks in advance (no emergency call out).
When in the UK, hybrid working is allowed; however, access to their Worcestershire site is required.
The ideal candidate will be qualified in an electrical or electro-mechanical discipline and have experience of machinery operating in a high volume manufacturing environment (some understanding of controls ideally).
The typical development pathway within the role is to train you to become a SPECIALIST in at least one of their major products.
