A Central London based interior design studio in the luxury residential sector is seeking a Studio Coordinator / Office Manager. This is a newly created role due to expansion following their ongoing success. They comprise of circa ten staff operating from a contemporary studio in Soho. The studio has a friendly and close-knit feel.

You will be intrinsic to the smooth running of the studio, supporting the Directors with their diary management and scheduling internal and external meetings. They have an international portfolio, and you will be required to arrange and book foreign travel. You will also be booking restaurants and venues for team and client events.

In addition, you will be responsible for the office supplies and facilities, monitoring and ordering office supplies and liaising with the landlord, cleaners and contractors. You will also coordinate IT support, utilising external support where necessary. Organising the onboarding of new staff will also be your responsibility, and you will coordinate staff appraisals in terms of scheduling and documentation. You will also assist in producing marketing and fee proposal documentation. The role includes other general duties to facilitate the smooth running of the office.

The ideal candidate will have previously held a similar administrative role, ideally in the creative industry where you have managed diaries and arranged travel. You will have assisted in organising events and coordinated facilities management and office supplies. You will require exceptional attention to detail and be able to prioritise and multitask. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required as well as the ability to use your initiative. You will be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and experience with SharePoint and InDesign (or similar) would be advantageous.
