We are working on behalf of a bank in London who are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Macro Strategist to join their dynamic London-based team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior strategists and economists, supporting the development of market insights and macroeconomic views that drive impactful investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth macroeconomic research and analysis across global economies, with a focus on identifying key market trends and investment opportunities.
  • Prepare high-impact presentations and reports to communicate market views to internal teams and clients.
  • Support the development of economic models and quantitative frameworks to assess macro risks and market dynamics.
  • Monitor global economic data releases, central bank policies, and geopolitical events to assess potential market impacts.
  • Collaborate with trading, sales, and research teams to support client engagements and market commentary.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in macroeconomic research, financial analysis, or a related role within financial services.
  • Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of global economic indicators, interest rates, FX, and fixed income markets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Excel, Python, or R) is a plus.
