We have a rare opening to join this well-established, family run business who specialise in electronic security, working with corporate clients, installing and maintaining fire and security systems. Based in the lovely village of Godstone, they are looking to recruit an Administrator on a part-time basis.
Our client is looking for a fantastic communicator who can offer a first-class customer service, working under your own initiative, taking responsibility in a detailed environment.
Salary: £25,500 - £26,500 (pro rata, depending on experience)
Start: ASAP
Location: Godstone – office based
Hours: 3 days per week – 9am to 5pm
Benefits: 25 days annual leave based on full time and bank holidays, Pension scheme
Your responsibilities will include:
- Answer incoming telephone calls
- Provide excellent customer service
- Gain and maintain working relationships with customers and suppliers
- Placing orders and managing stock and materials
- Taking deliveries
- Using in-house systems
- Create and edit documents using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Update project jobs paperwork using in-house systems (Training will be given)
- Assist HR with new staff clearances
- Maintain vehicle records & arrange MOTs & services
- Assist in maintaining and completing competencies audits
- Maintain calibration records and send off units for recalibration
- Complete O&M manuals for sites
Do you have the required skills and attributes?
- Previous administration experience; minimum of 1 year
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Customer focused
- Excellent attention to detail, good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work under pressure, be flexible and be responsive to challenges
- Well organised, self-motivated, reliable and efficient at managing their time
- Must have experience using Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
