Trade Counter / Goods In / Workshop Operative

IMH Recruitment have a great opportunity for our client based in Chesterfield. This role will be covering the Goods In, Trade Counter and Workshop – ideal for a candidate who likes to be kept busy! The Role: * Forklift truck goods on and off wagons * Welding products to be put away in the correct Linbins * Hire plant loaded and unloaded * Off-hired equipment cleaned down and put away properly * BOC bas bottles loaded and unloaded * Account and general public trade counter transactions * BOC gas bottle exchanges * Workshop work would includes in-house training, but predominately workshop work would be getting hire plant welding equipment out for testing * Workshop work includes assembling brand new welding machines * Workshop work = using power tools for prepping automated machinery for repair and refurbishment * Equipment is stored in our warehouse and needs forklift truck moving / and or overhead crane lifting * Taking the bins out * Exchanging skips and recycling waste bins * General day to day duties * Tidying up, sweeping and keeping the workshop and equipment clean About You: * Must have experience using Microsoft computers * Training is included and the candidate will be shown how our Sage accounts software works * Must have experience using tools * Must be able to wire a plug * Must have a detailed understanding of nuts, bolts and fitting * Must be prepared to learn product part numbers and welding consumables knowledge * Must have experience within the welding industry * Must have experience and forklift truck license * Must have overhead crane experience * Must a have a driving license Pay & Hours £18 per hour * Monday to Friday 07:00am to 17:00pm * Saturday 08:00am to 12:30pm * Overtime available * 24 days holiday annually + 5 days at Christmas (29 total) + bank holidays Please apply with your updated CV or call our office on (phone number removed)
