A Nursery in Catford is looking for part time level 2 & Level 3 Nursery Assistants & practitioners to join their team. The Manager is looking for someone who is confident, warm, caring, kind and passionate about childcare. This is a part time permanent position and you will be required to work the following therefore please only apply if you can commit to the following:

  • 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
  • 8am-6pm

If you meet the following requirements then please apply today:

  • Minimum Level 2 Qualified in Childcare
  • Experience working with Early Years
  • At least 2 years working in a Nursery
  • Up to date DBS (If not, must be willing to complete one)
  • Understanding of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding & EYFS
  • Excellent communication skills both written & spoken

You will be required to carry out the following duties:

  • Working in a team supporting & leading the team
  • Follow Nurseries policies and procedures
  • Sharing innovative new ideas
  • Ensuring the children's needs are met as well as keeping them safe at all times
  • Carry out observations and planning on key children
  • Communicate with children, staff and parents on a daily basis
  • To ensure responsibility for the effective daily running of the rooms
  • To have a sound knowledge of company policies, procedures and expectations
  • To take responsibility for excellent hygiene, health and safety and security practice within the nursery
  • To work closely with parents and create trusting relationships with all families

Salary from £13 per hour (Depending on qualification & experience). Start ASAP.
