A Nursery in Catford is looking for part time level 2 & Level 3 Nursery Assistants & practitioners to join their team. The Manager is looking for someone who is confident, warm, caring, kind and passionate about childcare. This is a part time permanent position and you will be required to work the following therefore please only apply if you can commit to the following:
- 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
- 8am-6pm

- Minimum Level 2 Qualified in Childcare
- Experience working with Early Years
- At least 2 years working in a Nursery
- Up to date DBS (If not, must be willing to complete one)
- Understanding of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding & EYFS
- Excellent communication skills both written & spoken
You will be required to carry out the following duties:
- Working in a team supporting & leading the team
- Follow Nurseries policies and procedures
- Sharing innovative new ideas
- Ensuring the children's needs are met as well as keeping them safe at all times
- Carry out observations and planning on key children
- Communicate with children, staff and parents on a daily basis
- To ensure responsibility for the effective daily running of the rooms
- To have a sound knowledge of company policies, procedures and expectations
- To take responsibility for excellent hygiene, health and safety and security practice within the nursery
- To work closely with parents and create trusting relationships with all families
