Are you ready to join a leading company in the Building & Energy Management Systems (BEMS) that leverages innovative technologies to deliver outstanding solutions for the built environment? The company are looking to take on a MSI Engineer to join their dynamic team.
The Master System Integration Engineer position requires a proven track record of solutions integration across BMS and smart building projects. Ideally, the candidate will have experience with systems such as Niagara, Schneider or Trend and common integration protocols such as BACnet, Modbus and MQTT.
As the Integration engineer, you will be required to work with all parts of the business from software engineering within the office to being out on-site commissioning and supporting other engineers. The role will involve both integration of devices on traditional projects as well as large scale cloud integrations using mainstream cloud providers.
Experience required:
- Sound working knowledge of building management systems (including but not limited to Trend, Distech, Tridium & Delta).
- Integration experience with mainstream BMS and building protocols such as BACnet, Modbus and MQTT.
- Understanding of control system software and how it communicates with third party applications and systems.
- Ability to read technical documents and schematics such as Description of Operations, panel drawings and points lists.
- Ability to work to deadlines and within set timescales.
- Ability to liaise with other engineers to help and fault find integration problems on site.
- Identify any extra additions or optimisations which could improve the design.
- Has relevant technical accreditations and qualifications.
- Sound working knowledge of building services mechanical and electrical systems.
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Outlook.
- CSCS card holder.
Additional Advantageous Experience Required:
- Completion of a relevant accredited training course with a BMS manufacturer such as Tridium or Schneider.
- Knowledge of IT Networks and IP technology.
- Understanding of cloud based IoT protocols such as MQTT.
- Understanding of smart building concepts such as standard naming conventions and integrations.
