Austen Lloyd is currently working with a leading, top 200 law firm to recruit an experienced Agricultural Property Lawyer to join their top-tier, Legal 500 recognised Agriculture team in Nottingham/Lincolnshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with strong experience in agricultural and rural estate matters to take the next step in their career with a highly respected and supportive practice.

The Opportunity:

This role offers the chance to work on a broad, high-quality caseload for a client base that includes work relating to:

  • Farm Business Tenancies and Agricultural Holdings Act
  • Acquisition and disposal of farms and rural property
  • Client and Agent liaison
  • Utility company easements and transfers
  • Assisting the Renewables Team with agricultural property advice
  • Compiling Auction packs
  • Exchange, completion and post completion related correspondence and formalities

You will be part of a team recognised for its depth of expertise and collaborative approach, with real opportunities for long-term progression.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 2+ years' PQE with demonstrable experience in agricultural and rural property law
  • Excellent technical knowledge and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to provide strategic advice to clients

  • Prior experience working with high-net-worth individuals or landed estates would be a distinct advantage
