Are you a Class 1 Driver? Do you want to work for one of the most forward-thinking and fast-growing logistics companies in the UK? How about working Monday, Wednesday, Friday along with weekends?
We are looking to add to the many Class 1 HGV Drivers at our site in Chorley. Start times can vary daily but depend upon the route - we are looking for drivers that can start between:
- Early Mornings 0300-0800 Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (Additional shifts available)
- Late Afternoons 1500-1900 Sunday to Wednesday (Additional shifts available)
- PM Shifts 1900-2200 Sunday to Wednesday (Additional shifts available)
2 years minimum experience is required.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Full UK driving licence (with CE entitlement)
- No more than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements)
- Great knowledge of the UK roads nationally
Rates of Pay:
- Monday to Saturday (Days) - 0600-1800 - £17.00ph
- Monday to Saturday (PM) - 1800-2200 - £20.75ph
- Monday to Saturday (Nights) - 2200-0600 - £22.00ph
- Overtime after 47.5 hours - £25.50ph
- Sunday Rates: Days - £25.50, PM - £29.25, Nights - £30.50
You will be required to complete a Tacho test and Driving assessment - upon passing these assessments, you will then be booked for a health and safety training day - These days will be paid for upon passing the assessments.
