Yard Operative – Temp-Perm

Overview

We are recruiting for an experienced Yard Operative/Fork Lift Driver for a National Builders Merchant near Sittingbourne. This is a temporary-permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the yard clean, tidy and well organised
• Looking after stock in the yard area
• Loading lorries
• Driving a Forklift Truck (Counterbalance)
• Unloading suppliers\’ delivery vehicles
• Working in the warehouse

Requirements

• Have a current, accredited forklift truck licence
• Previous experience working in a warehouse/yard environment
• A really positive attitude
• Be reliable and enthusiastic
• Have the ability to talk to customers/employees at all levels

Hours

Monday to Friday 7.30am – 5.30pm
