Economics is essential to understanding the competitive dynamics of markets, and economic evidence is a critical part of many competition law cases. We advise high-profile clients before the European Commission, national competition authorities and national courts on all aspects of competition policy. We work closely with both clients and legal counsel, providing a mix of strategic advice, creative problem-solving and technical support. Consultants utilise their analytical skills and economic tools to interpret data, delivering exceptional outcomes. Confident in developing new analytical techniques, our Consultants handle a wide range of projects and services, communicating effectively with diverse clients and successfully navigating various project situations. Building strong, trusting relationships with clients is key, allowing Consultants to help clients maximize the value of our work. Our Consultants are adept at deciding how to share project outputs and defusing challenging situations, ensuring client satisfaction and successful project completion. Analysis and Problem Solving: Scope and deliver a variety of projects; Design and specify analytical frameworks for both small and complex projects, addressing client issues with minimal senior input. Oversee and integrate work from multiple team members, ensuring quality and coherence in final outputs. Structure, review and edit client outputs with minimal input from others. Provide feedback and on-the-job training on all aspects of writing and presentation. Scope and lead substantial workstreams, demonstrating good project management skills throughout the project life cycle. Pro-actively manage budget, scope and deliverables jointly with client, with support from project managers. Delegate tasks and supervise colleagues on workstreams, ensuring they are motivated and aware of expectations, wider project and client content. Build relationships beyond day to day projects , networking regularly and appropriately with clients and other contacts. Help clients get the most value from our work, by knowing how they will want to use it (as individuals and organisations). Proven economics experience, in an economics consultancy, regulator, or government department. Consultant roles are designed for those with relevant work experience.
