I’ve partnered with a small software house experiencing exciting growth. As part of that, they are looking for a Systems Administrator / DevOps Engineer to help support and shape their growing infrastructure. Working as part of a small team, supporting a technically focused company, this role will span from supporting DevOps practices to helping with higher-level day-to-day support.

As the DevOps Engineer, what will be your main objectives?

  • Offer general support to the broader business
  • Contribute towards the ongoing support of their CI/CD pipelines
  • To evolve your DevOps-based skillset in line with the business needs

As the DevOps Engineer, you'll need the following:

  • Proven background in supporting both desktop and server environments across Windows and Linux systems.
  • Competent in scripting, particularly using Python; any working knowledge of C++, C, Bash, PowerShell or Java is welcome.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, with experience in deploying and managing cloud resources.
  • Practical experience working with CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiar with containerisation technologies and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes; hands-on experience with at least one platform is a plus.
