General Foreman / Senior Site Supervisor
Civils General Foreman / Senior Site Supervisor
Monday to Friday β 07:30 to 17:30
Location β Standish MUP, GL10 2HQ, Near Stonehouse Gloucestershire
Project will run to June with loads of other works in the pipeline.
Requirements include:
- CSCS or SSSTS
- First Aid (desirable)
Responsibilities include:
- Briefing the workforce on daily tasks and shift start
- Supervising onsite workforce
- Planning works, ensuring plant, equipment, and materials are available
- Monitoring health & safety on site
- Checking quality of works with Engineer
- Ensuring plant checks (daily, weekly inspections, PUWER/LOLER) are undertaken
- Briefing the site manager on tasks during shifts and completing allocation sheets
- Managing concrete/aggregates call-offs
Current workforce includes 2 gangs of 3 operatives, increasing to 4 gangs soon.
Scope of works includes:
- Drainage to a shallow depth of 1.5m
- Kerbs/Edgings
- Tarmac surfacing
