A leading provider of innovative power generation solutions requires a Project Manager to be based at their prestigious client sites in the Huntingdon area. Travel is required to offices and sites in the London/Southeast of England. You will play an integral role in leading projects of designing, installing, and commissioning world-class power systems from inception to execution.
Salary: Up to £65k DOE plus benefits
Location: Cambridge with travel required to offices and sites in the London/Southeast of England
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the planning, execution and closing of a project, and their strategic roles to drive the project to success.
- Manage the project's life cycles, competencies and skills of project members, support of top management, organizational structure, and political, economic, social, and technological issues.
- Management of strategy, people, process, schedules, resource and budget allocation.
- Management of risk, tools, standards, and procedures.
- Responsible for the success of delivering the project within the constraints of cost allocated to the projects where possible.
- Monitoring of contractor H&S requirements and maintenance work, compile reports and generate effective action plans to rectify any deficiencies found.
- Undertake regular inspections in line with H&S audit plan.
- Communicate regularly with the project team, subcontractors, customer, and own upper management.

- Previous experience in Project Engineering, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs.
