Job Opportunity: KS1 Supply Teacher

Location: Sheffield, S35

Start Date: Immediate / Flexible

Contract Type: Supply (Day-to-Day and Short-Term / Long-Term Cover)

Pay: £120 - £160 per day (dependent on experience)

We're currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable KS1 Supply Teachers to join a pool of professionals working across a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools in North Sheffield. Whether you're newly qualified or an experienced teacher, supply work offers you the chance to gain experience in different settings, maintain work-life balance, and make a real difference to young learners.

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to KS1 pupils in line with the national curriculum.
  • Follow school policies and plans where available, or bring your own creative flair when needed.
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom routines.
  • Support pupils' learning, behaviour and wellbeing throughout the day.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching in KS1 (EYFS experience also welcome).
  • Confidence to manage the classroom and build positive relationships quickly.
  • Excellent communication and adaptability skills.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
