My client are a well-established, reputable Main Contractor with a family feel and a reputation for excellent build quality and customer care. They are a growing business with lots of opportunities for career development and professional growth.
They have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Contracts / Construction Manager to join them on a permanent basis, working on fast track fit out projects nationally. The company work with a number of large clients across the UK in the retail, leisure and commercial sectors, working on a mixture of Fit Out and Refurbishment (internal and external) projects.
The Construction Manager would work closely with senior management, and would be responsible for managing a variety of contracts at high level. Your duties will include:
- Programme delivery and planning
- Regular liaison with the client and contract reporting
- Building internal and external relationships
- Providing regular progress updates and resolving any issues as and when they arise
- Overall staff responsibility and man management of a team of Site Managers, Assistants Site Managers, and Foremen and direct and subcontract plant and trades
- Ensuring high standards of Health and Safety
The successful applicant will come from a Main Contractor background and have experience of delivering multiple contracts across the Leisure/Commercial/Retail Fit Out sectors. Please note - travel across the UK will be required as part of this role.
The company will offer a competitive basic salary of up to £65k plus package.
