First People Solutions are working on behalf of a major contractor in the power and infrastructure sector, currently delivering key substation projects across Scotland. We're looking to speak with experienced Site Engineers who have a background in civils, utilities, or power projects and are keen to take the next step in their career within a growing, long-term programme of works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting out and site supervision for HV/substation civil works
  • Coordinating subcontractors and overseeing QA processes
  • Supporting the Site Agent and Project Manager on daily operations
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Technical reporting and site documentation

What We're Looking For:

  • HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in infrastructure projects (substations, utilities, civils preferred)
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
  • CSCS card essential; SMSTS/SSSTS desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
