Private Client Associate – 2+ PQE – Essex – Modern and Supportive Law Firm

Location: Office base in Chelmsford.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.

A respected and modern law firm in Essex is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor (2+ PQE) or Fee Earner with equivalent experience to join their growing team. This role offers autonomy, responsibility, and the opportunity to develop under the guidance of the Head of Department in a warm, supportive environment.

The Role:

• Manage a varied caseload across the full spectrum of private client matters.
• Draft Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Handle Estate Administration, Trusts, and Taxation issues.
• Support clients with Court of Protection matters.
• Build strong rapport with both existing clients and new referrers.
• Maintain a high level of client service and professional standards.
• Collaborate with the wider team to meet monthly KPIs and contribute to business development.

About You:

• You are a qualified solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE or a fee earner with equivalent experience.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage your own workload under pressure.
• Excellent communicator with a clear, personable, and confident manner.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using Microsoft Office packages.
• Committed to delivering an exceptional client experience.
• Ambitious, proactive, and a strong team player who wants to grow their legal career.
