An established Ladies fashion brand has an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join their expanding team.
The Role:
- Overseeing the production process
- Able to maintain & work with critical path
- Planning and monitoring production schedules and altering them when necessary
- Working closely with in-house sample room team, quality control departments
- Working closely with fabric suppliers, liaising with fabric bulk deliveries
- Creating and executing daily, weekly production schedules
- Managing all communication with factories to ensure daily clarity on production status updates
- Working on all required/requested testing on all bulk test reports and approvals
- Managing relationships with factories
- Identifying and troubleshooting costing/quality control challenges along with design and resolving with vendors
- Ensuring quality is always high standards are maintained across all ranges
- Ensuring production is cost effective
- Strategically managing vendors to make sure sample deadlines are met
- Making sure deliveries are met & are of the highest quality
- Estimating costs and setting the quality standards
- Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed
- Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment, ensuring we are always using the safest and best quality for our teams
- Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmes
- Liaising among different departments e.g. Design, Merchandising etc.
- Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed
- Supervising and motivating the team
