HGV Class 2 Driver Jobs – Temp to Perm – Bicester Capital Recruitment Group is currently hiring HGV Class 2 Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a leading logistics company based in Bicester. This role involves delivering fresh produce to commercial customers with early morning starts and regular shifts. Job Summary * Pay Rate: £18.50 – £21.80 per hour * Start Times: Between 04:00 – 06:00 * Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 6 * Job Type: Temp to Perm HGV Class 2 Driving Role * Manual Handling Required (handballing) Key Responsibilities * Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or damages * Review delivery schedules, PODs, keys, and route information * Ensure full legal compliance before shift start * Deliver to designated storage areas (including chilled and frozen sections) * Handle all goods with care and accuracy * Report any delivery issues directly to the transport team * Use mobile delivery software for PODs and photo confirmations * Complete end-of-day checks and return equipment/documents * Refuel and clean vehicle as needed * Download tachograph data and complete dispatch paperwork Candidate Requirements * Valid HGV Class 2 Licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card * Ability to perform manual handling tasks * Strong communication and time management skills * Committed to Health & Safety and safe loading practices * Able to follow delivery instructions precisely * Flexible and reliable for early morning shifts Apply now for this HGV Class 2 temp to perm driving job in Bicester and secure a long-term position with a respected logistics provider
