We’re looking for a Market Data Governance Associate to join our Market Data Services team, ensuring compliance, control, and oversight across QRT’s market data operations.
Your future role within QRT:
- Implement and maintain internal controls around data licensing and usage.
- Ensure compliance with vendor agreements and licensing terms.
- Review and enhance processes to strengthen licensing oversight.
- Monitor entitlements and permissioning (e.g., DACS, EMRS).
- Identify and close compliance and data usage gaps.
- Produce exchange and inventory reports (e.g., Bloomberg, LSEG).
- Interpret contracts and ensure operational alignment with commercial terms.
- Support audits and control reviews from a data governance lens.
- Drive data cleanup, control remediation, and process optimization.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Tech teams.
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Your present skillset:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 3–4 years’ experience in market data or data ops, ideally with audit or compliance exposure.
- Familiarity with licensing terms, vendor policies, and market data systems (e.g., TRG Screen, FITS).
- Experience with permissioning tools (e.g., DACS, EMRS) and audits.
- Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or AI tools is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven.
- Clear communicator, comfortable working across teams and with vendors.
